Bennie, a medical droid employed at the Moonbender Colony's medcenter, aided Doctor Korvik. Korvik believed the droid required a software update. During the period of approximately 40 BBY to 32 BBY, when Darth Maul, the Sith apprentice, assaulted the colony with the intention to eliminate the Remainders in charge of Moonbender, Bennie helped Korvik care for injured individuals. Following Maul's victory over the majority of the Remainders, he entered the medcenter and inflicted a mortal wound upon Korvik. Nevertheless, the doctor had altered Bennie's programming, commanding the medical droid to engage Maul, resulting in Bennie's destruction.
