A medical facility, known as a medcenter, existed inside the tower found in the Moonbender Colony. The medcenter was operated by Doctor Korvik, who was part of the Remainders, a group of ex-bounty hunters responsible for the colony's administration; he received help from the medical droid called Bennie. The medcenter was the last place that the Sith apprentice Darth Maul broke into during his attack on Moonbender Colony. Despite the fact that Maul killed Korvik in the medcenter, a Twi'lek patient who was concealed within a ventilation shaft lived through the assault.
