Biography

During the Mandalorian Wars, Benno operated as a member of the Black Vulkars swoop gang located in the Lower City of the planet Taris. Around 3964 BBY, Benno rose to a leadership role within the Vulkars, commanding a crew that featured the Drovian named Wargo and the Zabrak named Frazznik. In that year, Benno's team managed to capture two wanted individuals: Zayne Carrick, a Jedi Padawan accused of murdering four fellow students at Taris' Jedi Tower, and his accomplice, Marn Hierogryph, a local Snivvian criminal. However, Hierogryph, aware of Benno's impatience and aversion to Upper City customs, successfully persuaded Wargo and Frazznik to release them, preventing Benno from claiming the bounty for their capture.

Personality and traits

His crew considered Benno an unintellectual and abrasive man who disliked thinking too much. Benno was known to be impatient, and he had a strong dislike for Upper City bureaucracy, delays, and the clothing of the Upper City. Benno inspired a degree of respect, mixed with fear, among his crew members, who were highly motivated to avoid displeasing him.
