Bertos Goodner was a Twi'lek male who made his home on Naboo during the time of the Galactic Civil War. Despite appearing to be a dancer, he secretly functioned as a spy for the Rebel Alliance.

Following the events of the Battle of Yavin, Bertos Goodner could be found near the entrance of the Moenia spaceport located on Naboo. By pretending to be a dancer, Bertos Goodner would offer his dancing services to spacers who were traveling and passing through the city. To better acquire intelligence from these travelers, the Twi'lek preferred the spaceport as his dance location, rather than the cantina. Actually, Bertos Goodner held a position within Alliance Intelligence and acted as the commanding officer for all Rebel spies stationed on Naboo.
During 1 ABY, Simo Oron, a Rebel operative acting as a spy, was apprehended by Imperial forces and incarcerated within a small Imperial Base situated in the Lasay Swamp. The Rebellion coordinated a rescue operation for Simo on Corellia, however, his personal belongings, which included a confidential list of contacts, were inadvertently left behind. Therefore, the Rebel droid C-3PO assigned a team of Rebel agents the task of retrieving the contact list from the Imperial base located on Naboo. Once the Rebel team successfully recovered the contact list, they proceeded to deliver it to Bertos Goodner in Moenia.
Bertos Goodner existed as a non-player character (NPC) within the 2003 video game titled Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game that was developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, prior to its termination on December 15, 2011.
The character of Bertos Goodner was incorporated into the game through the Star Wars Galaxies: Jump to Lightspeed expansion, which was launched on October 27, 2004. This NPC was initially implemented as a "greeter NPC," positioned at the starport's entrance to furnish general information to players arriving on a new planet. Bertos Goodner was subsequently integrated into a quest within the revamped "Rebel Theme Park," which was released as part of the "Chapter 6" update on May 22, 2007.
