The designation Blade Two identified the second pilot within Blade Squadron, a group of starfighter pilots. In the Battle of Endor, this role, Blade Two, was filled by Braylen Stramm, a male human, until the death of the leader of the squadron, Wing Commander Adon Fox. Following the conflict, Stramm received a promotion to Wing Commander and took over leadership of the squadron. His callsign was then retired.
