Blaine Harris

Harris, a seasoned veteran of war, primarily functioned as a symbolic leader until the events following the Battle of Bakura. Prior to the Imperial occupation, Bakura's defensive capabilities were virtually non-existent. During the Imperial presence, the Empire maintained complete command over its military garrison, and Bakuran security personnel were limited to policing duties. Following the departure of the Empire, a proper military force wasn't re-established until the creation of the Bakuran Defense Fleet, which occurred after Yeorg Captison's term ended. Captison's relative, Gaeriel, who took over after him, retained Harris in his role, as did the subsequent Prime Minister. He ascended to the position of Deputy Prime Minister under Molierre Cundertol, where he schemed to murder Cundertol and the planetary senators, sever all connections with the New Republic, and establish himself as the supreme ruler. Harboring a strong dislike for the New Republic, he provided financial support to the Freedom resistance movement with the intention of aligning with the P'w'eck Emancipation Movement. In an attempt to isolate Freedom's leader, Malinza Thanas, he orchestrated the kidnapping of Jedi Knight Jaina Solo to implicate Thanas. His plan to assassinate the Jedi, Thanas, Cundertol, and the entire Senate was uncovered, leading to his death by a gunshot to the head from Cundertol.
