Blenks, hailing from Alderaan, was a Human male Soldier who served the Galactic Republic. During the Cold War, he was the lover of General Gesselle Organa.
Blenks, along with Organa, Kan'grell, and Prinn, found themselves within Alderaan's planetary generator. They were shielded by an incredibly strong force field, sustained by diverting power directly from the generator. However, a Sith apprentice under Darth Baras infiltrated the facility. This apprentice sabotaged the generator, forcing it into backup mode, which ceased all excess power drains, thus disabling Organa's force field.
Following the slaughter of their troops by the apprentice, Blenks, Organa, Kan'grell, and Prinn confronted the Warrior. Organa attempted to negotiate with the Wrath, but her offer was rejected. The Sith, seeking details about Organa's previous handmaiden, Jaesa Willsaam, began to torture Blenks. This compelled Organa to disclose that the Jedi Padawan Jaesa Willsaam's parents were still employed at Castle Organa. After obtaining the information regarding Willsaam's parents, the Wrath proceeded to execute Organa and her protectors, including Blenks, for their defiance against the Empire.
