Blix Lanister was a male criminal. During the Galactic Civil War period, he committed the murder of Alita Sweetwater in Anchorhead on the planet Tatooine. Following the Battle of Yavin, Windy Starkiller charged a spacer with the task of bringing Blix Lanister to justice. Unwilling to give himself up, the spacer was ultimately left with no choice but to eliminate the murderer permanently.

After 0 BBY, Windy Starkiller was staying in the town of Anchorhead on the desert planet Tatooine. It was there that he requested a spacer to locate the wanted murderer, Blix Lanister, who had escaped the town.
The spacer accepted the mission and soon located Blix. After returning Blix to Windy, the spacer was rewarded with 30 credits as thanks. Windy even suggested that the spacer should think about becoming a security officer. However, the situation involving Blix was far from over. Windy also needed the spacer to find one of Blix's gang members, a Rodian by the name of Gleezwuq. Gleezwuq was the only member of Blix's gang that Windy couldn't locate. He believed Gleezwuq possessed evidence that would prove Blix's involvement in the murder of Alita Sweetwater.
The spacer successfully located and eliminated the Rodian gang member. Gleezwuq had in his possession the very blaster that Blix had used to murder Alita. The spacer returned the blaster to an impressed Windy, who was now confident that Blix would face justice. The spacer was once again rewarded with 30 credits. Unfortunately, shortly after the evidence was given to Windy, Blix's associates broke into Anchorhead and helped Blix escape. Windy then gave the spacer one final task: to find Blix and his accomplices. Windy was sure that Blix would not allow himself to be captured alive again. He instructed the spacer to do whatever was necessary. In the end, the spacer found Blix and killed him along with the other criminals. Following the successful operation, Windy gave the spacer 100 credits.

Blix Lanister appeared as a Non-Player Character (NPC) within the MMORPG Star Wars Galaxies. Players who chose to complete a series of quests given by Windy Starkiller were required to escort Blix Lanister to Anchorhead, eliminate Gleezwuq outside the town, and then eliminate Lanister after he escaped from Anchorhead. The series of quests was centered around proving Blix Lanister's guilt in the murder of Alita Sweetwater.
Windy was removed from Star Wars Galaxies for reasons that are not known, less than a year after the game's release, during Publish 6 on February 11, 2004. While Lanister's species was not fixed, the quest dialogue confirmed that he was male. Although players had the option to skip Windy's quests, this article is written assuming that the player completed all available content.
