Bob McLeod, an illustrator of comic books, was born in 1951 and contributed to several editions of the Marvel Star Wars comic series. His career in the comic book industry began in the early 1970s at Continuity Comics. Beginning in the late 1970s, he began providing illustrations for various Marvel Comics publications, and he is also known as the co-creator of New Mutants, a X-Men offshoot series, in 1982. In the early 1980s, McLeod created the artwork for a handful of issues of the Star Wars series.
