The designation Bodyservant denoted an individual employed as a personal aide to another, functioning as their representative and support in various capacities. While frequently, but not invariably, enslaved, a bodyservant was devoted to the person they aided. During 11 ABY, Elegos A'Kla willingly assumed the role of bodyservant for Corran Horn, who was then operating under the guise of Jenos Idanian. This was done to safeguard the Jedi's concealed identity amongst both the Khuiumin Survivors and the Invids, groups which he had successfully infiltrated.
