Bogden was a celestial body situated within the Inner Rim of the galaxy, along the Hydian Way; it was orbited by several moons (multiple). One of these moons served as the clandestine meeting place where the Sith Lord Darth Tyranus secretly engaged the services of bounty hunter Jango Fett, who was chosen to provide the cloning template for what would become the Grand Army of the Republic.
The initial appearance of Bogden was in "The Revenge of Kybo Ren," the eighth episode of the animated Star Wars Legends series Star Wars: Droids: The Adventures of R2-D2 and C-3PO. This episode originally broadcast on October 26, 1985. Its inclusion in canon occurred with a reference to it within the 2002 movie Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones.
