Boiny

Boiny, a male Rodian, served as an accomplice to Arwen Cohl and held membership within the Nebula Front. Alongside Cohl and Rella, Boiny was among the limited number of mercenaries who survived the Dorvalla Incident.

Biography

Boiny joined Cohl and a dozen other crew members aboard the Revenue, where, acting upon Cohl's directives, he planted an explosive device within the ship's core. He was among the few who survived their departure from the Revenue, escaping within a modified life-support pod. When the pod crash-landed on Dorvalla after being shot down, most of the crew perished either during or soon after the impact. He, Cohl, and Rella were the only ones to survive. They reached the Hawk-Bat, Cohl's personal vessel, and departed, after Jalan triggered the old pod's explosives to eliminate some of their pursuers. Subsequently, they encountered Eru Matalis, known to them as Havac, the leader of the Nebula Front. He offered them a final assignment: the assassination of Supreme Chancellor Finis Valorum. They enlisted additional personnel and proceeded to Eriadu. After subduing the customs officers, Boiny, Rella, and Cohl left the others and went to meet with Matalis.

Everything went awry. Matalis, due to a disagreement, betrayed them and shot them all. He left Rella's corpse, alongside the dying Boiny and Cohl, for the Jedi to discover. However, Boiny regained consciousness and used bacta patches they discovered to heal himself and Cohl. Boiny and Cohl then sided with the Jedi, capturing Matalis and two of his subordinates, despite the presence of mercenaries on rooftops and inside buildings. Boiny and Qui-Gon Jinn then sought out a sniper positioned above the trade summit, poised to initiate an attack that would trigger droids to eliminate Valorum. Boiny, Qui-Gon, and members of the Eriadu security team traversed the ledges above the Trade summit, locating the sniper. The sniper fired, fatally wounding Boiny, before Qui-Gon eliminated the sniper moments later.
