Booth nine

Booth nine, a holobooth, was situated within the premises of a holobooth provider found in the depths of the Coruscant underworld.

Description

Inside the holobooth, one would find a contoured couch positioned in front of a holoprojector. Its dimensions allowed for a maximum occupancy of four individuals, though space was limited. A door, operated by a sensor plate activated with a hand gesture, provided separation from the lobby outside.

History

During the year 32 BBY, Lorn Pavan and I-5YQ convened with Zippa inside this booth, accompanied by Zippa's bodyguard, Bilk. Their purpose was to discuss the acquisition of a Jedi Holocron from Zippa. The negotiations rapidly deteriorated into a violent confrontation when Pavan cast doubt on the Holocron's authenticity. Zippa retaliated by accusing Pavan of being a Jedi in disguise. In anger, Pavan seized Zippa's vest, prompting Bilk to advance towards Pavan to intervene. However, I-5YQ fired a warning laser blast from his finger past Bilk's head. Lorn and Zippa then decided to continue the discussion, finally agreeing to a price of twelve thousand credits. Nevertheless, after the transaction was completed, Bilk brandished a blaster, and Zippa, fueled by anger from Pavan's earlier aggression, reclaimed the Holocron and stole Pavan's remaining credits. Zippa then departed, instructing Bilk to eliminate the pair. I-5YQ responded by emitting an extremely loud screech, which disoriented Bilk sufficiently for the droid to seize the blaster and fatally shoot Bilk. Subsequently, Pavan and I-5YQ exited the building, leaving Bilk's corpse behind.
