Bormter, a planet found in Wild Space, was the original home of the Bormterran species, a reptiloid race distinguished by having four limbs. After the [Battle of Endor](/article/battle_of_endor/legends], Moff Delurin separated from the Galactic Empire, proclaiming himself a warlord and using his warship, the Galaxy Dragon, to seize control of Bormter. Delurin then established a base on Bormter and enlisted Bormterrans into the dragon trooper military force.
Bormter was a terrestrial planet. It was the fifth planet from its sun in the Svekk system, located within Wild Space. This planet existed on the edge of explored space.

Following Emperor Palpatine's death during the Battle of Endor in 4 ABY, Imperial Moff Delurin seceded from the Empire, declaring himself Warlord of Wild Space. His first action as a warlord was the conquest of Bormter, achieved using the prototype Dragon-class Heavy Cruiser Galaxy Dragon and its loyal crew.
Delurin found that the planet provided all the necessary resources to establish a power base for his empire in Wild Space. It also served as a resupply location for the Galaxy Dragon and its crew. Furthermore, Delurin recruited the native Bormterrans to become dragon troopers, an elite military unit that pledged allegiance to him.
The Bormterrans called Bormter home. They were a species of tall reptiloids with four arms. Though not technologically advanced, they were formidable fighters in close combat.
The first mention of Bormter occurred in "The Galaxy Dragon and crew," an article by Bill Slavicsek. It was a supplement for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game by West End Games, published in Dragon Magazine 200 in December 1993. The Essential Atlas, a reference book from 2009, located the Svekk system, and therefore Bormter, in grid square H-14.
