Bostuco was a male Human who achieved the Captain rank within the Onderonian military. As a native of the world of Onderon, he commanded the security team responsible for protecting the Sky Ramp, a key access route to the Iziz Royal Palace. During the Onderon Civil War, he joined forces with Meetra Surik to spearhead an attack against General Vaklu's soldiers, aiming to rescue Queen Talia from her cousin's coup d'etat.
By 3951 BBY, Bostuco had dedicated over two decades to serving in the armed forces of his home planet, Onderon. A Mandalorian Wars veteran and former resistance fighter under General Vaklu, he spent the subsequent ten years guarding the Wall of Iziz, a role highly esteemed within the Onderonian military. The civil unrest preceding the Onderon Civil War led to Bostuco's reassignment from the Wall to lead a guard detail tasked with securing the Sky Ramp against potential incursions.
Although Bostuco accepted the transfer and followed his orders without complaint, he harbored resentment towards it. He believed he had many years of valuable service remaining, and this shift – from a respected and honorable position to what seemed like an insignificant one – made him feel sidelined. While he yearned to return to his duties on the Wall, Bostuco remained dedicated and obedient, committed to fulfilling any directives given by his superiors.
During the second battle of Vaklu's attempted takeover, Bostuco, alongside Meetra Surik, led a Royalist force up the Sky Ramp to engage the rearguard of Vaklu's troops who were attempting to breach the Iziz Royal Palace with the intention of assassinating Queen Talia. Following Surik's successful breach of their defenses, Bostuco and his team linked up with a larger contingent of Royalist soldiers striving to reclaim the Palace.
Before the Second Battle of the Onderon Civil War, it is possible that Meetra Surik and Bostuco met. They may have discussed Bostuco's reassignment. If Surik offered sympathy and assured Bostuco that his current post was crucial given Onderon's circumstances, Bostuco would express gratitude, and the player would receive light side points.
Alternatively, a dark side playthrough allows the player to use Anda's security card to overload nearby terminal ports, resulting in the deaths of Bostuco and many of his soldiers. A captain loyal to Vaklu would then promptly replace him.
While Bostuco cannot die on the Sky Ramp if the player chooses the light side path, Vaklu's forces can potentially kill him within the palace.
When overloading the terminal port, it is possible that Bostuco will still live but with Anda thinking he's dead. You can then persuade him to ask for re-assignment, Anda will then give you money for two when you really only got rid of one. This requires a very high level, around 40, necessitating cheating or exploiting a glitch.
