Bovo Yagen (location)

Bovo Yagen, a world situated close to the Corellian Trade Route, was classified as a planet. The indigenous Bovorians resided there, and they were subsequently joined by a family of colonists headed by Bovo Yagen, an ex-captain from the Imperial forces. The Bovorians were first suspicious of Yagen and his family because of some prior unpleasant encounters with other Humans. However, after Yagen and his family demonstrated their honorable intentions, the Bovorians accepted them and permitted them to remain.

In the following years, numerous merchants and refugees fleeing the Empire found the planet and established settlements. Following the death of Yagen and the subsequent fall of the Empire, the people of Bovo Yagen revealed their existence to the wider Galaxy, which led to their prosperity.

During the time of the First Corellian Insurrection, the Sacorrian Triad selected the Bovo Yagen system as the second inhabited star system to be destroyed, following the Thanta Zilbra system. Nevertheless, the twelve million residents of Bovo Yagen were spared the fate of the Thanta Zilbra inhabitants, thanks to the intervention of a seven-year-old child.
