Sacorrian Triad

SacorrianTriadSelonian-TEGtPaM A Selonian who was a part of the Triad

Serving as the ruling body of Sacorria was the entity known as the Sacorrian Triad. This clandestine council was composed of a Human, a Selonian, and a Drall, each exhibiting a strong distrust of the others and those from outside their group.

History

Details regarding the identities of the Triad members are scarce, even their given names remain a mystery. However, it is known that the Selonians of Sacorria descended from a Selonian den that had been disgraced. The shame brought upon these Triad Selonians was so profound that their den's original designation was discarded due to its offensive nature.

The Sacorrian Triad maintained peace on Sacorria, but they also enacted stringent regulations on their populace. These included laws preventing women from marrying without their fathers' approval, and another that forbade marriage to anyone from off-world.

Following the Galactic Civil War and the emergence of the New Republic, the Triad became convinced that dismantling the new alliance would be advantageous, allowing them to establish themselves as a significant regional power within the Corellian system. Their scheme commenced when Drallish operatives discovered records of the planetary repulsor on their planet, enabling them to ascertain the true function of Centerpoint Station. In 18 ABY, they secretly commandeered Centerpoint and manipulated its controls to target the cores of various stars, drawing energy from them and initiating supernovae.

The Sacorrian Triad at work

Prior to deploying the starbuster weapon, they forged alliances with several independence movements within the Corellian system, including the Human League, the Drallists, and the Absolutists of the Selonian Overden. The leader of the Human League that they collaborated with was, in fact, Thrackan Sal-Solo. The starbuster was then used to obliterate TD-10036-EM-1271, a star devoid of any inhabited planetary systems.

Subsequently, they orchestrated a series of coordinated uprisings on Corellia, Selonia, Drall, Talus, and Tralus, aiming to create systemic chaos and facilitate the establishment of a foothold for their fleet, which they had secretly been building for years. The immense interdiction field generated by Centerpoint Station prevented starships from entering the system. The starbuster then annihilated Thanta Zilbra, resulting in the deaths of tens of thousands and plunging the New Republic into a state of intense panic.

Ultimately, the Triad suffered defeat during the Battle of Centerpoint Station.
