Brainworm Rot Type A represented a deadly disease transmitted through the air, a specific form of the broader Brainrot Plague. This affliction targeted both humanoids and cephalopods, resulting in elevated dialogen concentrations within their bloodstream. Neimoidians were known to be susceptible, along with, it is thought, Duros and other Near-Duros, Anomids, as well as Wol Cabasshites. Its fatal effects manifested through symptoms such as nausea, night sweats, difficulty understanding written directions, errors in both speaking and writing, and localized purple discoloration of gills and respiratory openings.
