A Talz warrior named Broonmark had a father who was a male Talz. This occurred a significant time before the Cold War that took place between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. While Broonmark was still a youth, his father was slain by a predator native to their homeworld, Alzoc III; Broonmark experienced only shame due to his father's perceived frailty.
The initial mention of Broonmark's father appeared in the Codex entry dedicated to Broonmark within the 2011 video game Star Wars: The Old Republic.
