Calleen was the deity of wisdom belonging to the Altiri pantheon. Lene Kostana, an Altiri Jedi Master, paid homage to this goddess by naming her second convor, also Calleen, after her. Sometime between approximately 70 BBY and 68 BBY, Kostana entrusted her convor to fellow Jedi Master Dooku, revealing the convor's name to him. Dooku responded by pointing out that Calleen was also the name of the wisdom goddess, which impressed Kostana with his erudition.
Later, Dooku recounted these happenings to his sister, Jenza, through a holo-letter. Around 23 BBY, Dooku tasked his newly appointed Sith assassin, Asajj Ventress, with an investigation to find his sister's whereabouts, providing her with several data disks containing messages to Jenza; Ventress then listened to the holo-disk that contained the reference to Calleen.
The audio drama Dooku: Jedi Lost, penned by Cavan Scott and released on April 30, 2019, featured a flashback sequence where Calleen was mentioned. The official script release for the audio drama, which occurred on October 1 of the same year, verified the spelling of Calleen.
