Camp Forward, also known as Imperial Forward Field Operations, served as a provisional base of operations for the Galactic Empire's military units. It was situated far within the contested wilderness area of Mimban, a planet characterized by its swamp terrain. This location was chosen due to the intense conflict with the Mimbanese Liberation Army during the Mimban Campaign. Camp Forward was the launching point for military assistance, including AT-DTs, TIE fighters, and AT-haulers. The base was equipped with an airfield, mobile surgical units, and numerous tent encampments.
