During the time of the Yuuzhan Vong War, the Yuuzhan Vong took Barab I as a prisoner. Many of the Barabels, who were native to the planet, were also seized and forced onto a slaving ship. It was then that Saba Sebatyne, a Jedi Knight, made her entrance into the system. Thinking her people were all dead, she sought vengeance upon the unfamiliar, bloated balloon like ship that was escorted by coralskippers. She initially dealt with the coralskippers, and then unleashed her three remaining proton torpedoes, which tore open the large Yuuzhan Vong starship. The corpses of Barabels were ejected into the emptiness of space.
