Capture of the Tampion

Han Solo, a Commodore, was being transported to the Fifth Fleet to assume command. Solo was aboard the shuttle Tampion, crewed by Captain Sreas and Lieutenant Barth. Eight recon-Xs provided escort for the shuttle.

While traveling to the New Republic fleet, a Yevetha squadron materialized. They employed ion weaponry against the escort fighters and then abducted Commodore Solo and the shuttle's crew. During the boarding action, Captain Sreas was fatally wounded by a blaster. The Yevethan fleet departed, leaving the escort pilots, including Plat Mallar, alive to bear witness to their failure in protecting the Commodore and to inform the New Republic of Han Solo's capture.

Subsequently, Solo, Barth, and the remains of Captain Sreas were transported to N'zoth as prisoners. Nil Spaar later executed Barth, deeming him weak, and had Solo transferred to the Pride of Yevetha.
