Carl Weathers, born on January 14, 1948 and passing away on February 1, 2024, was a multifaceted American talent. He excelled as an actor and director, and in his earlier years, he was a professional football player. Within the Disney+ live-action TV series The Mandalorian, he played the role of Greef Karga. His performances as Al Dillon in Predator and Apollo Creed in the Rocky film series are among his most recognized works. He also shared the screen with Billy Dee Williams in the 1990 television film, Dangerous Passion.
Weathers lent his voice to a character in the LucasArts video game Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction back in 2005.
