Chahis was a warrior of the Serp species. He hailed from Serphidi, a planet situated within the Belial system. He was employed by King S'Shah, the ruler of his world. During the year 3 ABY, Chahis, along with other warriors, discovered the remains of a crashed Rebel T-65 X-wing starfighter atop a mountainous mesa. Tracking the crash site, Chahis and his group ambushed a Rebel team as they exited their fighters, resulting in the death of a pilot named Berl and the capture of Captain Cinda Tarheel, who was brought before S'Shah.
Star Wars (1977) 64 featured Chahis. The story was penned by David Michelinie and Michael Fleisher, with artwork by Joe Brozowski. It was published in 1982.
