The Champion served as a combat repulsorcraft for the Royal Naboo Security Force throughout the Invasion of Naboo.
Equipped with triple laser cannons, this vehicle was capable of withstanding attacks from both enemy soldiers and armored units. The Heavy Champion later replaced it. Furthermore, this vehicle was able to transport one additional royal trooper.
Champions saw deployment in the defense of cities such as Parrlay, New Centrif, and Vis against the invading forces led by OOM-9. Champions, along with their successors, the Heavy Champions, also participated in the capture of Harte Secur, safeguarding the command center of Harte Secur during OOM-9's invasion. Moreover, several Champions were utilized during the Invasion of Spinnaker.
