The Galactic Empire's formation was followed one year later by Chardri Tage and his co-pilot and partner, Tamsin, possessing a vessel. The duo was dispatched by Bail Organa in their starship to find Ahsoka Tano, a previous Jedi, although Organa kept the target's identity a secret. They discovered her on a planet within the Thabeska system as an agent from the criminal organization Black Sun chased her freighter. They opened fire on the other ship, causing the agent's retreat, and subsequently secured Tano's ship with a tractor beam.
