Chenlambec was a male Wookiee bounty hunter (see: gender), identifiable by his infrequent and recessive silvertip fur. He was originally from Kashyyyk, but he was forced to flee after killing an Imperial officer who was assaulting a Wookiee child.
Within bounty hunting circles, Chenlambec was known as the 'Raging Wookiee' because he was known to only accept assignments that required the target to be dead or alive. He generally preferred to provide proof of death to his contractor. On occasion, however, he would assist his targets in escaping to the Rebellion and would fabricate evidence of their deaths to protect them from the Empire. He would then claim the bounties for their 'dead bodies'. He wore a bandoleer made of black reptile skin as a deterrent to Trandoshan hunters who might seek to hunt him for sport.
Chen developed a friendship with Tinian I'att and became her Ng'rhr, which translates to clan-uncle. He mentored Tinian as a Hunt apprentice, and they participated in three Hunts together before deciding to pursue Bossk, the notorious Trandoshan bounty hunter. Chen and Tinian eventually developed a tentative relationship with Bossk to capture Han Solo following the Battle of Hoth. This was actually a scheme to betray Bossk and trap him in the illegal practice of using Wookiee pelts as bait in the Lomabu system. Chen possessed a handheld slicer droid named Flirt.
After the collapse of the Bounty Hunters' Guild, Chen was among the more renowned bounty hunters who gained prominence. He once owned a personal starfighter by the name of the Wroshyr.
