Chop'aa Notimo existed as a Human male Mandalorian mercenary and crime lord, operating in the [Legends] continuity, who chose to fight for the Confederacy of Independent Systems throughout the duration of the Clone Wars. Following the war's conclusion, he briefly aligned himself with the Black Sun criminal organization, but later ventured out independently. Notimo then seized control of criminal activities within the Bespin system, notably including the Cloud City mining colony. In his capacity as an underworld kingpin, he employed a number of subordinates, among them his second-in-command, the Gungan bounty hunter known as Kleef.
In the year 2 BBY, Notimo orchestrated the kidnapping of Senator Garm Bel Iblis while on Cloud City, but he was soon confronted by Darth Vader's Sith apprentice, Starkiller, who was actively searching for the Senator. Notimo engaged Starkiller in combat, utilizing his personal Basilisk war droid; however, he proved unable to overcome his opponent and met his death.

Chop'aa Notimo, a Human male Mandalorian, was born in the waning years of the Galactic Republic. He functioned as a mercenary during the Clone Wars, aligning himself with the Confederacy of Independent Systems. His motivation stemmed from his belief that the Galactic Republic's clone troopers—cloned from the Mandalorian bounty hunter Jango Fett—represented a deplorable corruption of the Mandalorian legacy.
At some point during his lifetime, Notimo suffered the loss of his right eye, resulting in noticeable scarring on his face. He also acquired a Basilisk war droid, modeled after the ancient war mounts employed by the Mandalorian Crusaders of ages past.
Following the conclusion of the Clone Wars, Notimo became a member of the Black Sun crime syndicate, rapidly advancing within its hierarchy. However, he ultimately departed from Black Sun and initiated independent operations, demonstrating his capabilities as a shrewd underworld leader. Notimo eventually gained dominion over various criminal enterprises within the Bespin system, including those situated in the lower levels of Cloud City, a still-developing mining colony suspended above the gas giant Bespin.
Around that time, Notimo also encountered the Gungan bounty hunter Kleef and subsequently hired him to provide training to the remainder of Notimo's forces. Kleef eventually ascended to the position of Notimo's most trusted lieutenant and second-in-command.

In 2 BBY, Notimo's forces launched an assault on Cloud City, engaging in combat against the Bespin Wing Guard, who were under the command of Cloud City's computer liaison officer, the cyborg Lobot. Senator Garm Bel Iblis, who happened to be present on the mining colony during the attack, proceeded to the loading bays in an attempt to negotiate a cessation of hostilities with Notimo. However, Notimo instead dispatched bounty hunters to apprehend Bel Iblis; Kleef successfully carried out this task, bringing the Senator before him. Concurrently, Starkiller, the clandestine apprentice of the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Vader, arrived on Cloud City in pursuit of Bel Iblis, with the intention of securing his support in the formation of a resistance against Emperor Palpatine.
Starkiller advanced through Cloud City, killing Notimo's subordinates, including Kleef, and eventually reached the chamber in which Notimo was holding Bel Iblis captive. Anticipating his arrival, Notimo launched an attack on Starkiller, wielding his two-pronged electrostaff, supported by two of his Mandalorian guards equipped with jetpacks. The Sith apprentice eliminated the two Mandalorians, prompting Notimo to utilize a remote control integrated into his armor to summon his Basilisk. Amidst the battle, Starkiller managed to leap onto Notimo's mount, and the two engaged in a duel. Ultimately, Starkiller employed the Force to dismantle the Basilisk, hurling it against a wall. Emerging from the burning wreckage of the destroyed machine, Notimo attacked his adversary on foot, only to be fatally slashed across the chest by the aspiring Sith. Following Notimo's demise, Bel Iblis aligned himself with Starkiller's cause, and together they departed Cloud City to rendezvous with other rebel leaders—Bail Organa and Mon Mothma—on the planet of Corellia.

Chop'aa Notimo, a shrewd underworld kingpin succinctly characterized as immoral "scum" by Starkiller's companion, Jedi Master Rahm Kota, held his Mandalorian heritage in high regard. He harbored a deep-seated disgust for the Republic's clone troopers, deeming them a disgrace to Mandalorian culture. This animosity fueled his decision to fight for the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars. Notimo was a professional criminal who rapidly ascended within the Black Sun organization. Following Kleef's recruitment, Notimo developed complete trust in the Gungan. Later, Notimo exhibited a strong determination to retain Bel Iblis as his captive, and Kota believed that there was no diplomatic approach that could persuade him to release the Senator.
Notimo possessed black facial hair, brown eyes—one of which was missing—and a light complexion. Despite his monocular vision, Notimo was a formidable and skilled combatant, although he did not always adhere to fair fighting tactics. He wielded his electrostaff with considerable proficiency, capable of slamming it into the ground to generate shockwaves that would knock his opponents off balance. Notimo displayed confidence in his abilities, frequently taunting Starkiller during their duel and asserting his intention to kill him.
In addition to his staff, Notimo utilized his personal Basilisk war droid, equipped with three potent repeating blasters and low-atmosphere repulsorlifts that enabled it to hover during combat. The Basilisk possessed a rudimentary droid brain and was capable of operating in virtually any environment, even within the vacuum of space. Notimo's armor incorporated a built-in remote control for the droid.
