Navigation officers of the clone army were clone troopers assigned to operate or lead starships within the Galactic Republic Navy.
During the Clone Wars, clone navigation officers helped to populate the crews of Star Destroyers and other starships belonging to the Republic Navy, either in command positions or as part of the crew. A significant number operated aboard Venator-class Star Destroyers, managing the vessel's various systems. The attire of clone navigation officers consisted of gray uniforms, complemented by black boots, gloves, and a belt. They also displayed rank insignia plaques affixed to their chests. It was common for them to wear kepi caps or headsets. In the initial period of the Galactic Empire, they adopted black uniforms and caps, resembling the attire of other Imperial officers.
