Chapter 12 represents the twelfth installment of the animated TV show Star Wars: Clone Wars. It is also the second episode within Season Two, and the twelfth episode included in Volume One. Genndy Tartakovsky directed this episode, which was initially broadcast on Cartoon Network on March 29, 2004.
On the planet Dantooine, a young boy, Paxi Sylo, observes a conflict taking place between the armies of the Republic and the Separatists. Mace Windu commands clone troopers as they fight against Separatist B-1 battle droids. Despite Windu's initial advantage, the Separatists deploy their seismic tank and put it into action. A massive wave of earth erupts, dispersing Windu and his forces. After recovering, he realizes that he's not only isolated from his troops and surrounded by B2 super battle droids, but he's also missing his lightsaber.
