Rebolt's staff, also known as Commander of Staves or Rebolt's club, was a staff owned by Rebolt. Its nickname came from the Sabacc face card. He personally constructed it from a broken tungsten transmission mast, and he covered the end with black rycrit leather. This rycrit leather acted as an insulator, allowing Rebolt to connect the conductive metal parts of his club to a power cell, giving him a stronger shock when using it. Rebolt commonly employed Commander of Staves to intimidate and abuse others.
During 13 BBY, after the scrumrat Han Solo came back to the Den of the White Worms with nothing to show for a failed transaction, Rebolt used Commander of Staves to strike him repeatedly as a form of discipline, acting without Lady Proxima's authorization. Weary of this mistreatment, Solo managed to seize the staff from Rebolt. Wielding it himself, Solo warned that he would retaliate against anyone who dared to strike him again.
The 2018 anthology movie Solo: A Star Wars Story marked the debut of Commander of Staves. The companion reference book, Solo: A Star Wars Story The Official Guide by Pablo Hidalgo, was the first to call it by the name Commander of Staves.
