Due to a decree from the Republic Strategic Information Service, these descendants were forbidden from departing Belsavis, fostering a deep resentment towards the Republic, spearheaded by the Kaleesh leader Nyranos. During the reconstituted Sith Empire's invasion of Belsavis in the Galactic War, they launched an offensive against the Prison Administration Center, resulting in the death of Warden Playt. However, his replacement, Warden Graal, was ultimately persuaded to negotiate with Nyranos, forging an alliance in exchange for better living standards and employment opportunities offered by the Republic.
