Consortium space station
The Consortium Space Station represents a line of orbital facilities. These stations were constructed and operated by the Zann Consortium throughout the period of the Galactic Civil War, and are documented in space stations lore.
Characteristics
Consortium Space Stations came in a range of strengths, classified by levels ranging from 1 to 5, with Level 1 being the least powerful and Level 5 being the most formidable. Stations of Level 3 and higher were equipped with a plasma cannon capable of inflicting significant damage. Additional armaments included pulse cannons and other lighter defensive systems, all of which could be extensively enhanced beyond their initial design. The level 1 space station is considered huge for it level compred to the imperial and rebel ones but the size barely increases as the level continued and it considered small when compared to the rebel class 5 one the Cardan Class 5 one is small compared to it.
These stations served a similar purpose to the Galactic Empire's Cardan-class space station and the Rebel Alliance's Alliance Space Station.
History
A notable placement of these space stations was above the planet Ryloth. This particular station's presence dated back to the time when Zann and Urai Fen plotted against Jabba the Hutt, and potentially even earlier. It's also known that entities other than the Consortium utilized this type of space station.
