The Controller FP was a type of force pike that was produced by the SoroSuub Corporation.
The SoroSuub Corporation engineered the Controller FP as a specialized force pike. This weapon incorporated a vibroactive tip, capable of delivering an electric shock to inflict pain or stun the intended target. When wielded in pairs, these weapons could prove lethal. Furthermore, the staff possessed the capability to generate a pain-inducing force field around a target, effectively immobilizing them.

Throughout the galaxy, bodyguards and sentries utilized the Controller FP. However, it gained particular notoriety through its use by the Emperor's Royal Guard, who employed it to safeguard Emperor Palpatine and enforce his directives. During the Liberation of Lothal, Emperor Palpatine deployed three Royal Guards with the mission to eliminate Jedi Padawan Ezra Bridger, after Bridger's refusal to unlock the World Between Worlds. The guards, employing Controller FP force pikes, confined Bridger within a force field generated by the staffs, while a squad of stormtroopers attempted to eliminate him with blaster fire. Despite the agonizing effects of the stasis field, Bridger managed to harness the Force and break free from his assailants.
