SoroSuub Corporation

SoroSuub Corporation, based on Sullust, was a company whose technology division was responsible for the creation and production of a wide array of technological products, spanning from droids and sensors to both weapons and vehicles. The Commerce Guild, a large group comprising retailers, weapons manufacturers, agricultural corporations, and various service providers, held ownership of the company.

During the period of the Clone Wars, the Sullustan Home Guard of SoroSuub, under the leadership of Admiral Dua Ningo, chose to back the armed forces of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, in accordance with the Commerce Guild's agreement, and was given the task of defending the Sullust sector along with the company's interests. Once the conflict concluded, SoroSuub aligned itself with the Galactic Empire, the successor to the Galactic Republic.

Around the time of the Galactic Civil War, SoroSuub provided employment for approximately half of Sullust's inhabitants. When SoroSuub shifted its support to the Empire, Nien Nunb, one of their freighter pilots, engaged in theft from the company to aid the Rebellion. The corporation eventually changed its allegiance to the Rebel Alliance, renaming their Stormtrooper One blaster to Freedom One as a demonstration of their support.

Notably, the company manufactured the Luxury 3000 space yacht, the Petite Opu-Yacht, the V-35 Courier landspeeder, the Hush-98 comlink, the Quasar Fire-class cruiser-carrier, and the C1 personal comlink.
