However, their popularity diminished rapidly with the onset of the war, as they became perceived as prime targets for both pirate groups and Separatist forces. During the Clone Wars era, these yachts were often equipped with concealed weaponry to enhance their defenses against potential Separatist assaults. The pirate captain known as Hondo Ohnaka commanded a Luxury 3000 space yacht named Fortune and Glory. Furthermore, when operating in disguise as Rako Hardeen, the Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi acquired a Personal Luxury Yacht 3000 from a Bith starship vendor situated on Nal Hutta. Lando Calrissian also possessed a Luxury 3000 space yacht, which he named Lady Luck.
