Corey Burton is known professionally as a voice actor.
Corey Burton's initial involvement with the Star Wars franchise began in the late 1970s, specifically when he lent his voice to Luke Skywalker for a Disney Read-Along book/record in 1979, which retold the story of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. Subsequently, one year later, he voiced the character Derek Klivian in Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back. He also provided the voice for Luke once more in the audio drama titled Rebel Mission to Ord Mantell.
Decades later, Burton made a return to the Star Wars universe, taking on the role of Count Dooku / Darth Tyranus in various projects by LucasArts. This casting choice was influenced by his reputation as the "audio double" of Christopher Lee. Additionally, he voiced San Hill in the 2003 micro-series, Ziro the Hutt in the 2008 movie, Cad Bane in the subsequent animated series, and a variety of other characters across different Star Wars media.
