During the time of the New Republic Era, the Pirate King known as Gorian Shard commanded a corsair belonging to the Cumulus-class. He employed this vessel to command his gang of pirates. Notably, Shard's corsair featured fourteen ventral ball-shaped turret gunwales. Furthermore, the prow of Shard's corsair was shaped like an anvil.
