These individuals made their home within the western canyons, piloting Raider skyfighters. Their reputation stemmed from their assaults on vessels belonging to the Exocron Airfleet.
During the year 8 ABY, they launched an assault on the Airfleet cruiser known as Desaclates. This offensive was an endeavor to recover a probe droid originating from the New Republic vessel FarStar, which the cruiser had previously seized. However, their attack was repelled by X-wings dispatched from the FarStar.
