Originating from the Elrood-Derilyn Trade Route close to Coyn within the Elrood sector, this pathway provided a link to the Rimma Trade Route which terminated at Tantra found in the Tantra sector.
Following the Imperial takeover of the sector, the Coyn route was pioneered by traders originating from the Elrood sector. Functioning as a discrete act of rebellion, this pathway served to economically distance Derilyn from the other planets within the sector. Now serving as the primary link between the sector and the rest of the galaxy, Coyn gained the title of "Gateway to Elrood Sector."
