Crix Yarrow was a male employee working in an office setting; he resided on Tatooine during the era of the Galactic Civil War.
Following the events of the Battle of Yavin, Crix Yarrow worked as an assistant to Mikdanyell Guh'rantt, the leader of Mos Eisley. In the year 1 ABY, the city, along with its mayor, faced difficulties due to assaults by Tusken Raiders. These attacks were, in reality, part of a scheme orchestrated by the crime boss Jabba the Hutt with the goal of putting pressure on the mayor and ultimately seizing control of the city. During this period, Crix Yarrow made a trip to Bestine and lodged in a local establishment. While there, he observed a performer putting on a show for him. However, this performer had been dispatched by Anetia Kah'ryn and was actually present to extract information from Crix regarding the nefarious plan unfolding in Mos Eisley. Anetia, herself a performer, had observed that patrons were more inclined to share details after being entertained. Crix did, in fact, agree to converse with the performer, simply revealing that a criminal mastermind was attempting to dominate Mos Eisley. Regrettably, that was the extent of his knowledge. Anetia Kah'ryn ultimately succeeded in uncovering the truth and revealing the entire conspiracy to Mayor Mikdanyell Guh'rantt.
Crix Yarrow existed as a computer controlled character within the 2003 interactive game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game that was created by Sony Online Entertainment, and then published by LucasArts, before its termination on December 15, 2011. Crix Yarrow was integrated into the game upon the release of "Publish 17," on May 26, 2005. He was included as part of a mission given by Anetia Kah'ryn to new players who had selected the "entertainer" career path. His physical appearance and race would change with each server reset, though he was always portrayed as male.
