Cryalira was a Tarasin female who held the position of Irstat-Kes for the Hiironi irstat, which was the biggest irstat of the Tarasin species found on Cularin.
A large portion of Cryalira's life was spent hunting. The unexpected death of the prior Irstat-Kes, Meirana, not long after the previous Mother's passing, shocked her, as it resulted in her becoming Irstat-Kes instead of Dariana. She would have rather spent her time traversing the jungle than fulfilling her responsibilities as the leader of the irstat.
She found it challenging to make choices on behalf of the tribe, as she felt she lacked the necessary training or natural aptitude for the role. However, she was still developing in the position, and many held the opinion that she would have become a great Irstat-Kes if given more time. In 32 BBY, some disaffected members of the irstat were plotting against her.
Cryalira was known to raise her crest while she was presiding, which caused many to think she was constantly in a state of anger.
Her grandson, Fisonna, is among her known family members.
