Dagger 1
Dagger 1 functioned as an Assassin-class corvette within the forces of the Galactic Empire.
History
Before the Battle of Hoth occurred, Dagger 1 found itself in a perilous situation. It was transporting torpedoes while its counterpart, Dagger 2, carried components for TIE Series starfighters. Both ships became trapped within a Rebel type B ion cannon minefield designated M2.
To rescue the immobilized corvettes and protect the repair efforts undertaken by the Gamma-class ATR-6 assault transport named Omega, two Missile Boats were deployed. Their mission was to fend off the Rebel MC40a light cruiser Planka, which had arrived with the intention of seizing the trapped vessels.
The Missile Boats successfully eliminated the minefield, neutralized the Rebel cruiser, and destroyed the starfighters launched from the cruiser. Following this, the Dagger group activated their hyperspace drives and resumed their original assignment.
