Flesh-eating daggerworm

The flesh-eating daggerworm, a non-sentient worm of the parasitic variety, was native to the Mid Rim world of Trenwyth. These worms dwelled within the internal organs of happabores, four-legged (quadrupedal) beasts inhabiting numerous planets throughout the Western Reaches. Interestingly, the Happy-Bore Medicated Dewormer from Galacti-Stok, designed to manage various parasitic happabore worm populations, was deemed unsuitable for combating flesh-eating daggerworm infestations. This crucial detail appeared in an advertisement leaflet for the dewormer. This leaflet was discovered by the scavenger Rey and incorporated into the survival guide she was writing prior to her leaving Jakku in 34 ABY, a planet where happabores were among the native fauna.
