Darin, a youthful Human sporting unkempt, dirty-blonde hair, was employed by House Hirskaala on the planet Cularin. He held the conviction that the Metatheran Cartel engaged in illicit activities, and he unearthed information that he thought would bring about the Cartel's downfall. However, before he had the opportunity to gather conclusive evidence and disseminate it, he was abducted by a band of pirates disguised in House Hirskaala security attire. These pirates, allied with Velin Wir of the Cartel, transported Darin to a clandestine landing site concealed within the jungle. Darin successfully broke free and vanished into the jungle, generally making his way back in the direction of Gadrin, yet he was never seen again.
