The Darkveil Eclipse, a space station, existed within the Bright Jewel system throughout the Galactic Civil War. Functioning as the central hub for all Black Sun activities within the system, it resided in the Scarlet Dawn quadrant. The Darkveil Eclipse, in conjunction with the Dual Moons, constituted the Salient Trinity, which were the three starfighter bases operated by Black Sun in that system.
Rilis, holding the rank of Lieutenant Commander, commanded the Darkveil Eclipse's starfighter forces around 1 ABY. During the Battle of Tansarii Point Station, Dartas Pytin's Car'das starfighters launched an assault on the Darkveil Eclipse. The majority of Black Sun's forces were destroyed, including Rilis himself, thereby concluding the conflict between Black Sun and Car'das.
