Dual Moons

The Dual Moons were a duo of analogous space stations situated within the Bright Jewel system throughout the era of the Galactic Civil War. Their design was similar to those utilized by the Trade Federation or miners. Positioned in the Scarlet Dawn quadrant, the Dual Moons were at the core of Black Sun's activities in the Bright Jewel system. United with the Darkveil Eclipse, they comprised the Salient Trinity, which were the three starfighter bases of Black Sun within that system.

During 1 ABY, Lieutenant Commanders Chaen and Ondara commanded the Dual Moons' starfighter forces. In the course of the Battle of Tansarii Point Station, the Dual Moons acted as the primary defense for the Darkveil Eclipse, facing an assault from Dartas Pytin's Car'das starfighters. The majority of Black Sun's combatants were destroyed, including both Chaen and Ondara.
