Behind the scenes
Daz's initial introduction was in Star Wars: The Old Republic, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying video game launched by BioWare in 2011. He functioned as a vendor for planetary commendations specific to Taris while situated on Carrick Station. Subsequently, he was redesignated as the Level 17 Equipment Vendor. However, with Game Update 4.0 on October 20, 2015, he, along with all other planetary Equipment Vendors, was removed from the game.
