DD-11A, also known as DeDe, was a Defender Droid manufactured by Tendrando Arms and belonged to Queen Mother Tenel Ka. Her purpose was to safeguard her daughter, Allana. DeDe was essentially a customized YVH 1 combat droid, repurposed to serve as both a nanny and a bodyguard for Allana. It featured weaponized arms, a synthskin torso, and a face described as "cherubic".

When the Gorog plotted to assassinate Solo, DeDe played a crucial role in her defense.

Subsequently, DeDe met its end while trying to prevent the assassin Aurra Sing from harming the young Chume'da.
